Compact Amazon Wish Lists

Sorry, but this application no longer works. Amazon.com has removed the API necessary to lookup Wishlists.

Enter the email address known by Amazon to select the public wishlists for that user.

Returns links to very compact and simplified views of public Amazon wish lists.

The links are bookmarkable and stay in synch with the referenced wish list. They can be printed out and kept as an offline reference.

Bookmarklet

This bookmarklet allows a user to generate a compact wishlist by selecting the bookmark when on the Amazon wishlist page itself. Drag the following link to your Favorites menu (or Link bar if you use one.)

Compact Wishlist Viewer: WishlistViewer.

This will work on any of the U.S. or international Amazon sites.

Unfortunately, the URL Amazon displays when showing a user's default wishlist sometimes doesn't contain the wishlist ID, which this bookmarklet depends on. The easiest way to get a better URL is to select the wishlist from the "Your Public Wish Lists" menu. This will reload the wishlist with a cleaner URL which this bookmarklet can work with.
